Lower triglyceride naturally and safely through proper diet and supplementation with CoQ10 and Omega-3 fatty acids
Triglycerides are similar to cholesterol in that they are essential for
bodily functions but can cause major problems such as a higher risk for heart
disease if found in above normal amounts in the body.
Triglycerides are a type of fat that make up about 95% of all of our fatty
tissue. High triglycerides can put a person at a higher risk for, or cause such
diseases as under active thyroid, diabetes, inflammation of the pancreas and
cirrhosis (liver disease). Heart health also relies heavily on triglyceride
levels. It is believed that triglycerides contribute to the thickening of wall
arteries a process that occurs slowly over time and can eventually lead to a
heart attack.
Cause of high triglyceride
Some of the most common causes of high triglycerides are intake of high fat
foods, weight gain, age, medication, illness, and heredity. Triglycerides
increase as your weight increase. Some of the biggest contributing factors to
weight gain and increased levels of triglycerides are alcohol intake, high sugar
intake, and a diet high in protein, especially red meat and dairy products. As
the body ages triglyceride levels go up naturally so the older you are the more
careful you should be about high fat food intake which is something you can
actually control. Medications that most commonly increase triglycerides are
birth control pills, and steroids. The illnesses mentioned before are also
linked with high triglycerides.
Lower triglyceride naturally
A good diet to lower triglycerides is any diet that decreases intake of high fat
foods, protein and dairy. You can also reduce high triglycerides by following a
diet that will lower cholesterol. Because these two are linked when you reduce
cholesterol you also reduce triglycerides. As you loose weight your triglyceride
levels will increase because the fat is being released from storage cells into
the blood stream, but at the end of three months you should see a dramatic
decrease in triglyceride levels. Medication can also be taken to help reduce
cholesterol and triglycerides, but this should be used as a last resort, because
these medications can also reduce the levels of CoQ10 and enzyme found in high
amounts in the heart.
CoQ10 is an essential part of heart health so precautions
should be taken to help maintain its levels.
Fish oil triglyceride
Omega-3 fatty acids taken either through vitamin supplementation or eating
cold water fish is extremely effective in overall cardiovascular health and
reducing high triglyceride levels. In 1996 the American Heart Association
released an advisory on the benefits of omega-3 fatty acids in reducing coronary
heart disease. Since then numerous studies have reinforced the premise that
omega-3 is essential in reducing and stopping cardiovascular related diseases.
